The Beside Floor Lamp is a clever design that defies gravity with its asymmetrical shape. Extending up from a solid block of white marble, thin ribs of metal form an implied rectangle make this lamp one you will not want to hide behind a piece of furniture. Because there are cut-outs at the bottom of the base, it can be turned left- or right-facing and the cord will flow through the space in the back. The antique brass finish on the metal makes it a warm contrast to the coolness of the stone and draws out the natural veining of the same color.
